Please, stop asking me about the game's release date

Hello, everyone. I decided to make this post since this has been going on for a while now.

PLEASE, stop asking me about the release date for Killer Trait and any other games I have.

I let it slide for quite some time but this has been becoming more and more frequent and I'm starting to get tired of it. You have to understand that being a gamedev—especially an independent gamedev—is a lot of hard work and time. I have a full-time job so I can only work on my games during my free time and at my own pace. Not to mention I can't always work at my 100% because there are also days when I might not be feeling well or I'm taking a break. When people ask me constantly about the release date of my games, especially after I've answered this question so many times (and even made a FAQ page that I've put on ALL my game pages as well as my Itch profile page) and they don't bother to check if this information has been answered before, I start feeling like they couldn't care less about my well-being and just see me as a content creation machine.

On this note, I'm also tackling the question regarding whether the game will be free or not. Considering making games takes me a lot of time, effort and money, I really can't afford to make my games free anymore. Unless it's a game jam-game or something along those lines, it most probably won't be free.

Please, don't tell game developers to make their games free if you can't afford them. I understand it can be frustrating, but going into a gamedev's space so as to tell them, beg them—sometimes even demand them—to make their games free is not okay. It's disrespectful and insensitive.

Although there is already a FAQ question post on my Carrd, I've added a FAQ on Killer Trait's game page itself so that it's the first thing people see when they enter. Please, if you have any questions, make sure to read this first.

Thank you!
