Lacrima is a young woman who is turned into a vampire against her will and wishes to regain her humanity. One day, she hears a rumor about a certain elixir, known as the panacea, which is kept in a hotel in the middle of the woods. In order to find clues for it, Lacrima manages to get a job at the hotel and begins her search while slowly getting closer to her coworkers. But she must be careful... since, should her true intentions be discovered, things could take a turn for the worse.

Will she succeed at finding a cure to turn back into a human or will she remain a vampire for the rest of her life?

  • A female protagonist
  • A hotel full of beast-like creatures
  • Cool illustrations for epic scenes!
  • Dialogue, lots and lots of dialogue... and thinking monologues
  • A good amount of comedy, because even dramatic stories can be funny
  • A story-rich mystery adventure with around 1 hour of play-through (demo)
  • A Blackjack mini-game that tests your courage to wager
  • Money. Wait, what? I didn't write this one...

Important for Mac users!

Due to Apple having issues with programs that aren't made by them, I needed to include a plugin that allows you to save the game regardless. Because of this, your save files won't be inside the game folder but rather in the Library. Once you save at least once, if you wish to see your save files, go to Library --> Application Support --> Default\Panacea (the files may be outside of the folder but they'll be right below it so you can go ahead and move them inside :D).

Bro when does the full game release?

Hi! Sorry for the late reply! There was a change of plans for this game, so it'll now be remade as a visual novel sometime, with some changes here and there, but under the name of FableNovel. We're planning to make a sort of prequel for the Spooktober jam this year. Right now we're working on another project, though.

Thank you for your interest! <3

Sounds good, can't wait for the final product :)

Odd name choice for a main character it actually means tear...

Haha, yes, the cast all have pretty unusual names except for Jack!

I had a lot of fun with this demo, the setting is quite different to anything I've seen before and all of the characters are fun and charming to interact with. I like the idea of having to keep your motive for being at the hotel a secret, it's not something I often see in RPGmaker games and I'd love to see how that's implemented into the gameplay. Definitely will be keeping an eye out for the full game.

Thank you so much, I'm happy to know you had fun!! 😊

Hi, I loved your game I really want to see new updates in the future and everything, but I also wanted to know how you learned to program in RPG Maker, you saw a video on YouTube or participated in a class, I really want to lear  too! (English bad I know)

Hi! Thank you, happy you enjoyed the game! <3 As for how I learned RPG Maker, it was a combination of seeing tutorials on youtube (SRDude has a lot of great ones), practice, and asking on RPG Maker forums when there was something I didn’t understand and found no solution on the internet. Hope it helps! ^^ Good luck!

Chris Caine made a YouTube video of your game! ^^

aw I wish it was longer! I would love to play the full game when it comes out!

Thanks so much for your kind words! I'm glad you liked the demo! I'll do my best for the full-release! <3

A wonderful game with a great sense of humor! The characters are all very charming, I can't wait to play the full release

Thank you so much, I'm happy to know you enjoyed it!! :D
